Discover Your Personal “Why”?
Every ROYALISTA has a personal
reason “Why” they are building their Business. It could be as simple

Anything worth doing or having in life will have occasional moments that will test your commitment level. Starting a business is no different. Your personal “Why” will keep you moving forward when you come across times that test your resolve. The good news is that you now belong to a network of tens of thousands of like-minded people who can support you through your occasional tests and learning curves. If you allow them to, they will help point you in the right direction, and they will be there to celebrate your accomplishments.
It’s exciting to
think that as a ROYALISTA

time! All of this is achievable and is determined by your dreams, level of effort,
and power of your Personal “Why.”
How to Discover your Personal “Why”
This exercise is
designed to help you discover your Personal
“Why.” While we often know in our hearts what we value and cherish, we
usually don’t take the time to truly think about them. To take real action, you
need to understand the reason and motivation of why you do things to improve
your life. This will help you come to understand what it takes to make our
dreams into reality.
To help you discover your personal “Why,” answer these
five questions.

VISION STATEMENT
Vision is the gift
anticipating how things can, will, or may come to be. Projecting a dream
forward and stating it as if it has already come true is a Vision Statement.
For example: If an important
area of your life is the relationship that you have with your SPOUSE or CHILDREN, one thing
you might want to accomplish is to help her or them realize their dreams. If you know
that she has always wanted to visit Italy, you can think about your answer to
question #4, and then imagine how
you can make this dream a reality. The result will be your Vision Statement, which might sound like this:
“I will take my wife to Italy for
three weeks this summer. I will budget out the entire trip and then book the
tickets tonight. I will rent a beautiful car. We will drive through the Alps,
visit the ancient city of Florence and ride a gondola in Venice.”
Now it’s your turn
to create your own Vision Statement.
Start with one of the areas of importance in your life, add your answer to
question #4, and then write your
statement as how you see it will happen:

Congratulations! You have now
written one of your dreams as a Vision
Statement. The power to make it come true will be driven by your personal “Why.” You “Why” is fed by your love for the most important areas of your life
and your passion to fulfill, support, and nurture them.
The next thing you
must do is to determine the goals and tasks required to make those dreams come true.
Dreams may have one or more goals that must be completed in order for you to
achieve them, and each goal requires the completion of a few tasks. To create
goals and tasks for every dream ask yourself:
“What do I need to do to move toward
my dream?”
“What goals must I accomplish in
order to achieve dream?”
“What do I need to realize this
dream? What do I lack?”
“What tasks must I accomplish?”
“Why am I doing this?”
When all tasks are
complete, and each goal reached, your dream becomes reality. The entire process
is driven because you first discovered and then envisioned your Personal “Why.” This process does not
end with the realization of one dream, but continues for as long as you dream
and accomplish.
